MANILA, Philippines—Popular TV host Kris Aquino on Tuesday arrived at her family's home in Quezon City shortly after Congress concluded the canvassing for president and vice president.
Her brother, Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino, emerged as the winner in the presidential race with a wide lead of over five million votes over his closest rival, former president Joseph Estrada.
But Kris declined to entertain questions from reporters, who have been following his brother even during the campaign.
Kris said she was just there to bring clothes to her brother.
The president apparent has not yet responded to the media's request for an interview on the results of the canvassing.
